Since I heard of Elva’s joining her other loved ones, I have done alot of reflection of my life upon this earth and as I have stirred up the memories I have found that Elva’s have intertwined with mine throughout! I still get to pass by the old Hancock Homestead on my way to Roosevelt often. I got to stay with the Hancock Family way back in the 50′s and boy did we make memories then! I loved Elva for her personality as she blessed my life so much with her support as I was having problems at that time. Elva was a middle child and so was the caring, loving, supportive one and also the competitive one, throughout! I loved Elva for her personality. I remember very vividly at two Hancock cousins reunions ago. Even though her mind was challenged, she competed with me on how good she could walk as she skipped out the door with me and my cane. The missing of her will be great, but, time passes by quickly and I know you can all be with her again. Take care and make that happen. You are all the greatest, The Rod Anderson Family….How do I know? Because Heavenly Father tells me so!
Rod, Vicky, Sharon, Marie, Judy, Lorraine, Sandy, There are not words adequate to describe Elva and the good that she stood for. I was always in awe of her and the love that radiated from her for all. She was an incredible woman, an inspiration to me, someone I could pattern my life after, someone who had unconditional love for everyone. She was a brightness in my life as was your whole family. I still feel your family’s love in my life, I think of you often, and I had been thinking about Elva a lot these last two weeks. I want you all to know how much I loved her, and all of you. You were a strength to me and you have entwined yourselves in my heart forever. I consider you family, that will never change. My memories and my thoughts of you are all sweet, joyous, peaceful. I send my endearing love to Elva and to all of you and wish you peace and the ability to feel her love and the love of our Savior at this most difficult time. May our Heavenly Father bless you with pleasant, wonderful memories, peaceful moments of reflection and absolute joy in the knowledge of the Plan of Salvation. Elva must have experienced a glorious reunion, absolutely bowled over by all those who have awaited her return! And now she will watch over you and you will feel her love and joy still in your lives, just listen for it. She will be there. Mom, Pam, and I tried to be there this morning but the weather was too bad to drive through up here in Cache Valley so we missed seeing you, being there for you. But, know that we are thinking of you, wishing we could be there for you to support you in your grief. I am here for you, I love you. Please contact me. My love to you all, Charlene
